[Introduction: After the death of her father, Elle was fired from The Company and traveled to London in attempt to get away and rethink her life. However, she started having trouble controlling her power. After declining an offer of help from Pinehearst, Elle tracked down Claude, the invisible man. In desperate need of answers, Elle used her lightning ability to electrify the air and stop Claude. However, she also electrocuted herself...]
(In a London park, Lee and Abigail find Claude and Elle lying on the ground.)
Lee: Come on, Let's get you home.
Claude: Wait. Bring her too. (Lee picks up a still unconscious Elle.)
Lee: Isn't she company?
Claude: Trust me, if she had a partner we'd know already.
Abigail: I don't like it. She shouldn't be here.
(Later, in a bedroom.)
Lee: She's waking up.
Claude: Leave us.
Abigail: Holler if you need saving again.
Claude: No Partner?
Elle: (sitting up in bed) Like I told you, I left the Company. Something's not right with my ability. I'm overloading and it hurts. I need your help.
Claude: If we do this, you do what I say. I've been known to throw the odd student off tall buildings. You okay with that?
Elle: If I get thrown off of anything, you're coming with me.
Claude: Fantastic! Let's get started.
(Later at the Globe Theatre)
Elle: The Theatre? Are you serious?
Claude: Hamlet. Great play. Interesting guy. He's got almost as many daddy issues as you do.
Elle: Excuse me? My Dad's dead. So why don't you drop it and tell me how to fix this thing.
Claude: That's just it though. Dad pops off and next thing you know you're Fulgora the goddess of lightning. I'm afraid we can't drop it. This is the Whispering Gallery. Whisper your secrets and I can listen on the other side of the room. So how did daddy make you feel?
Elle: Like crap all right! Is that what you want to hear? Bennet told me how my dad turned me into a guinea pig. Is that why I'm like this?
Claude: It's okay to be angry at him Elle. It's also okay to forgive him.
Elle: What if I can't?
Claude: Either way, you just need to let it out.
(Elle later somewhere in a hottub, as Abigail enters the room.)
Elle Narrating: Letting it out is exactly what I am trying not to do. Thing is, I think I might be getting this thing under control.
(As Abigail starts to step into the hottub...)
Elle: Wait -- don't!
(Abigail takes a strong electical jolt)
Elle Narrating: Doesn't she know better than to get into a hottub with the human joy buzzer?
Elle: I'm sorry.
Abigail: (sweeps Elle's legs out from under her) Bitch!
(Elle responds by firing a direct bolt at Abigail, who generates a forcefield bubble around herself, causing the lightning to ricochet into Lee as he enters the room.)
Abigail: Lee!
Lee: What the ...
Elle: It was an accident! (as Abigail leaps towards her with forcefield fists, hitting her in the jaw, then receeding back to Lee, encasing him with her inside a forcefield bubble.)
Abigail: Why don't you do everyone a favor, and get the hell out of here?
Elle: Lee, please. I didn't mean --
Lee: You should go, Elle.
(Later in another room, dressed and with Claude.)
Claude: Let me talk to Lee and Abigail.
Elle: And tell them what? That even in this house I'm still a freak?
Claude: That's not who you are, Elle.
Elle: Yes it is. And being here hasn't helped. It's better for everyone if I just accept what I am.
Elle Narrating: I'm not normal and I never will be. I am a lot of things...An agent. A Villain. An Orphan. And I'n running out of places to go.
(Elle stands in the Bennet house in Costa Verde, CA; spewing electric arcs from her fingertips, with an electrfied and unconscious Lyle Bennet lying in front of her.)
